Jonathan LIM
With over 20 years of public sector experience at the Singapore Economic Development Board and Enterprise Singapore, Jonathan brings a wealth of international experience in scaling >600 startups and fostering >100 joint innovation with more than 40 countries like China, Japan, Israel and Europe through an initiative called the Global Innovation Alliance. As Singapore's founding representative in EUREKA Network, the largest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation, Jonathan has played a pivotal role in global tech collaboration. In Singapore, Jonathan has been at the forefront of developing the country's vibrant startup and innovation ecosystem.
Jonathan has also been a key figure in establishing the Singapore Institute of Technology, the nation's fifth public university. He has over 15 years of experience in advancing the education sector and has successfully attracted top foreign universities to establish campuses in Singapore.

Managing Partner
Dr Karen CHONG
Dr Karen Chong spent more than 20 years at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), with her most recent role as Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Microelectronics. She is a proven technology leader with extensive experience in driving innovation across semiconductor (microelectronics), medical and materials technology.
Dr Chong has a proven track record in evaluating and commercializing cutting-edge technologies, guiding startups and developing solutions to address industry problem statements. She is adept at aligning technology strategies with business goals and fostering partnerships within the deep tech ecosystem. Within A*STAR, Dr Chong also held senior positions at Science & Engineering Research Council (HQ) and the Institute of Materials Research & Engineering where she was the Head of the Nanofabrication Dept and Nanoimprint Foundry.

Professor LIM Ser Yong
Prof. Lim Ser Yong was a Senior Fellow at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). He is currently a Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology. With a distinguished 25-year career at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech, A*STAR), including 15 years as its Executive Director, Prof. Lim has established strong collaboration with the manufacturing industry, working with more than 2,000 companies in joint projects, making significant contributions to the manufacturing sector in Singapore.
Prof. Lim also served as an advisor to the Urban Solutions and Sustainability Programme Office, fostering industry engagement in urban and sustainability solutions. Additionally, Prof. Lim was seconded to the R&D Division of the Ministry of National Development, where he played a key role in formulating and translating national-level R&D strategies, policies, and initiatives to support the Ministry's strategic priorities.

LAU Chi Hin
Chi Hin has over 20 years of investment banking and private equity experience. He has worked on direct investments in a range of industries across the Asia Pacific region and has deep experience with deal structuring. He has also served as non‐executive director on the boards of investee companies in manufacturing, property, software and other business sectors.
Chi Hin began his career as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan in London where he was involved in executing M&A transactions and fundraisings in the European markets. He also previously managed US$1 bill private equity portfolio under General Enterprise Management Services. Chi Hin was also Director of General Oriental Investments in Hong Kong, a multibillion‐dollar family office.

Tax Partner (Singapore)
TAN Bin Eng
Bin Eng is a Senior Tax Partner with more than 25 years of working experience in establishing and leading teams that are involved in policy setting, policy design, and operationalizing incentives. In her last 15 years at EY, she focused on supporting and advising clients on regional business expansion plans and negotiations with the Singapore government on incentive related matters.
Early on in her career, Bin Eng was head of the tax and incentive within the Economic Development Board before leaving for EY. She grew the team at EY into a leading incentive advisory practice and also established the ASEAN Business Incentive Advisory team. Bin Eng led the team focusing on advising clients on investments and incentives available in the region.

Ivan HOO
Ivan has over 30 years of working experience covering all aspects of financial services including financial institutional sales and corporate treasury primarily in fixed income and credit derivatives, corporate banking, corporate & strategic advisory, project & structured finance, accounting, and auditing. Most of the Fixed Income sales were primarily focused in the high-yield credit and commodities and credit structured products.
Ivan started his career at RHB Bank in Malaysia before taking on key roles at Merrill Lynch, UBS Warburg, BNP Paribas, UBS AG and OCBC Bank in Singapore. He was also involved in various management roles in Singapore and the region.

Dr SU Chih Hung
Dr Su has been a serial tech entrepreneur over the past 10 years. He has invested in more than 10 deep technology companies in the display, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing and biomedical sector. Dr Su has a PhD in Chemistry from National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan.
Dr Su started his career at various top companies in Taiwan, including AUO Corporation, Viewsonic, Wistron, CWTC. Most of his corporate roles are global business development where he played a key role to grow the revenue for the companies in US and other major markets globally. With his strong corporate and startup background, Dr Su has put his focus on investing and helping deep tech companies to grow and scale in China and Asia.

Takaki NAKAMURA
Takaki started his career at Sojitz, a general trading company, in 2011. He was in charge of over 50 projects and successfully closed 12 deals worth approximately 650 billion yen in infrastructure development and M&A projects in emerging countries such as Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Vietnam, and Indonesia. In 2016, he joined the M&A Practice team of Accenture Strategy, where he supported PE funds and Japanese corporates in cross-border M&A as a Business Due Diligence advisor and PMI consultant. In 2019, Takaki joined Vertex Holdings, the largest VC firm in Southeast Asia, where he was involved in Fund of Funds investment, startup investments, and open innovation support for Japanese companies. In 2022, he co-founded Cross Capital, a VC FoF/Advisory firm aimed at facilitating cross-border collaboration and investments. He also co-founded and has been leading the Japan Southeast Asia Innovation Platform (JSIP), a business community in Singapore with over 40 member companies, mostly major corporations.

ZHOU Wei
Wei founded XNode in 2015 as the center of innovation in China and the pioneer private accelerator building an ecosystem of innovation. He is also an active investor in a number of technology companies. Between 2000-2004, he was with Roland Berger and then joined Vision Real Estate Investment, Jade Invest. He founded Belgravia Capital, which resulted in a successful exit to a public Japanese company. From 2011 to 2015, Wei Zhou has been on the board of EO.

Denes BAN
Denes is a seasoned advisor to some of the world’s most renowned family offices, financial institutions, and corporations, specializing in venture investing, alternatives, and impact investments. With 20 years of experience, he has built extensive single-family office networks globally.
Denes developed a Fundraising Masterclass and a proprietary Fundraisability Score to help companies succeed in fundraising. He has lectured at prestigious universities such as Harvard and Cambridge, and advises VCs, accelerators, and governments. He is featured in top publications like TechCrunch, Wired, and Forbes, and sits on the Advisory Board of Cambridge University’s Innovation for Impact and Lifestyles Magazine.

Jane CHIK
Jane has 30 years of experience in business development, specifically in the fields of wholesale trade, agri-food technology, cold chain logistics and real estate. She has successfully implemented business development and project investment efforts. She is familiar with international commercial operation models, investment attraction, and business portfolio planning.
With her knowledge of international market products, she has helped many China businesses expand internationally, especially in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Kengo SUZUKI
With a background in a trading company, he led business development and cross-border projects, including investment execution. He has extensive experience launching and scaling overseas startups (Silicon Valley, Israel, Taiwan, SEA) in Japan and Asia, as well as accelerating startup deals. After managing local operations and business expansion in Malaysia, he joined a founder-led new business division, where he invested in digital tech startups through CVC while overseeing portfolio companies.
In 2019, he founded NEOLIZE, operating in Japan and Malaysia, supporting Japanese companies' expansion into ASEAN and assisting overseas firms entering Japan. As a shareholder in several Malaysian startups, NEOLIZE is recognized as a key player in the local ecosystem. Additionally, as a Venture Partner at Gobi Partners, he facilitates cross-border (Japan-SEA) opportunities

Sean LOW
Sean is a seasoned professional with 24 years of deal sourcing and investment experience. He spent 17 years in the PE & Infrastructure department of GIC, where he oversaw GIC's investments in private equity, infrastructure, private debt, and venture capital across the US, Europe, and Asia, leading landmark deals in each region. Sean played a pivotal role in expanding GIC’s private debt program and was an active member of the GIC Credit Business group, contributing to the review of GIC’s overall credit investment strategy.
Sean began his career at the Singapore Economic Development Board, serving first as Assistant Head of the InfoComms & Media group and later as Director of the Chicago Centre. Currently, Sean chairs the Investment Committee at CFA Singapore and was elected Treasurer of Singapore's VC & PE Association in 2021.

Eng Keat has over 20 years of experience helping logistics companies develop and implement their commercial plans and strategies. He has successfully advised a wide range of global and regional logistics companies to invest and grow their operations in Southeast Asia. This included helping them develop their go-to-market strategies, organizational capabilities and advise on how to navigate the geopolitical and regulatory environment.
Eng Keat has experience with strategic and asset portfolio reviews, supporting M&A activities, executing digital transformation strategies and communications efforts and leading a business unit‘s P&L.

Jeremy LIM
Jeremy is an accomplished leader, innovator, and outstanding public service leader with extensive experience in corporate management and nonprofit creation. Jeremy is the Past President of the Singapore Lim Chamber of Commerce, where he actively promotes and enhances the Chamber's position as a hub for business in Southeast Asia and the world. He also serves as a member of two charities; Director and Technical Advisor to Lions Home for the Aged and Friends of the Lions Association.
Jeremy is the Chairman of Quantum Group in Singapore, which focuses on artificial intelligence projects, research and development of smart elderly care systems. Jeremy had a successful career early in his career. In his early thirties, he served as the general manager of Singapore's largest security company, Certis Group (China), a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, and became the youngest executive of the group at that time. Previously, he held senior management positions at Apple Inc. (Asia Pacific).

Professor Matthew TAN
Prof Tan is a renowned specialist in food security and sustainability with over 20 years of hands-on experience. His expertise lies in carbon transition strategies for the agriculture and fishery industries, emphasizing regenerative practices, biodiversity, and climate-smart technologies. He has spearheaded impactful initiatives, integrating ESG principles into agri-tech projects to promote carbon neutrality, reduce environmental footprints, and foster local community investment. As the APEC Chair for Sustainable Development in Agricultural and Fishery sectors, Prof Tan has played a pivotal role in facilitating dialogues between governments, NGOs, and the private sector, driving sustainable development and advancing Aqua Tech 4.0 for future food security.

Fabian TAN
Fabian Tan is the Founder and Director of Asia Bridge Connections, which supports the investment and innovation flows between Singapore, Japan, Korea and other key markets.
Over the past 15 years, Fabian has worked closely with leading Japanese and Korean corporations to support their investment plans in Singapore and the region. In addition, he has also worked closely with Japanese and Korean partners to drive the internationlisation of Singaporean companies.
He is also active in engaging corporate venture capital, private equity and leading unicorns from Japan, Korea and Singapore, advising them on strategy and business growth.
